上海交通大学第二届人工智能青年学者论坛将由人工智能学院主办，举办时间预计为2024年8月12-13日。后续学校及学院将根据报名情况由专人对接，邀请优秀青年学者进行学术交流。

The 2nd SJTU AI International Young Scholars Forum will be hosted by the School of Artificial Intelligence(SAI) on August 12-13, 2024 in Shanghai. AI Scholars are welcomed to register for academic exchanges.

School of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU-SAI) was founded in April 2024, jointly established with the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SHLAB).

SJTU-SAI aims to become a world-leading AI school with the goal of “attracting top talents, producing top achievements, and incubating top enterprises”, adhering to the vision of “AI changes the world, talent transforms AI”.

Currently, the school is advancing frontier research programs in the fields of core AI theories and algorithms, innovation and practice of foundational AI architectures, development and application of AI technologies in vertical domains. The school will form a team of top scientists and engineers to carry out full stack research covering operating systems, compilers, underlying drivers, frameworks, models, applications, and other aspects. In terms of talent cultivation, the school aims to integrate undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, diversify development paths, and cultivate composite technology leaders with grassroots innovation capabilities.

The building of SJTU-SAI is located in Xuhui (downtown) Campus. It covers an area of 6,000 square meters with 300 people capacities. The school will provide conducive working conditions and environment for the talents.
